Facentry – Door Access

In this digital age, the use of a physical key or card to open a door could be viewed as old technology. Instead TouchByte has developed a unique access control system using a face recognition algorithm as a secure authentication method to allow only authorised personnel to open a door. The algorithm used is the same technology used for Border Control and Law Enforcement so it’s extremely secure and very accurate.

There are a number of practical applications for secure access technology including hotel room booking – any location which requires fast, accurate and secure notification of arrival and entry through a door.

From either the comfort of your home or whilst mobile, you can book a hotel room, apartment or chalet by uploading your personal details including your face image, which are then sent to the chosen destination’s booking system.

On arrival at your destination, you would check-in at the WelcomeKiosk and your face checked, a room automatically allocated and your face image sent to the room door station.

At the allocated room, the door station has a button which, when pressed, activates a LED light and triggers the face recognition software. If a match occurs, the door catch is released and the guest may enter. The room lighting can also be integrated so that internal lights also switch on at entry. As extra security, the unit has a tamper proof switch which turns the system off.

The solution provides a slick, smooth, secure and cost effective method of entering a room or building.

Secure Building Access
