Case Study: Midas

TouchByte partnered with Midas in 2021 to develop their knowledge of the construction sector, and to install their face recognition access control system, Facentry.

Construction sites faced a great deal of challenges during the COVID19 pandemic, but they are also bound by government legislation to ensure health and safety compliance.

TouchByte’s mission was to support the construction sector, through showcasing what face recognition access control can do for sites, security and streamlining onboarding for contractors.

Mark Jones, Operations Manager at Midas said: “The opportunity to collaborate with TouchByte has enabled a very useful technology to be applied specifically to one sector, construction.

Over the past four months, the technology has been developed, installed, and integrated with FaceOS, customer-facing software to enable simple user enrolment.

Facentry ticks legislative boxes and meets government guidelines; we know who’s on site, when, and the relevant training/accreditations each contractor has. It’s excellent for ensuring a H&S compliant site.”
